This app is a mess. It has a poorly thought through interface with tiny, fiddly controls and it’s marred with appallingly inappropriate nag screens to get your email address. On the other hand, the results generated by the app arent bad. Ive gotten the best results just repeatedly punching the randomize button until I get something I like rather than trying to adjust the manual settings, which are near-unusable.

Why no full resolution support via import or camera?? Why??

I like this app. -- its easy to use and I like what it does. Ive read the other reviews and havent experienced any of the problems mentioned.

Recently downloaded this app and like it a lot. Very user friendly. Have had no issues with it.

I love this app. I use it for all my Self Portraits and other photos that are best in B&W. I always spread the word about this app

I love this app. The thing I do not like is it takes so long to save the image and How do I exit the image I just finished working on?

I have been using Dramatic b/w for over two years, I was looking forward to the new interface... Its horrible. It is incredibly sticky and the controls for the vignette are incredibly clunky. This is garbage. I will now look elsewhere for converting images to black and white. The same functionality is there, but the new interface is so sticky it interrupts the flow of making changes. Be prepared to click on a slider several times, if that is even enough. And then when you go to save... Well, you might have to go back and redo all your edits because it will fail to save. I loved this product before, but this update is mind-numbingly bad. Please change my mind. I enjoyed the earlier version do much better. And it isnt the redesign that I dislike, it is the cat-herding sensation that envelopes every change I want to make to a photo. This isnt the dramatic I expected from the new dramatic b/w.

I love the presets offered but I really appreciate the app giving my the ability to tweak my edits. I also like the way you can size and place the vignette anywhere you want. Now, if I could only find a program that could offer this level of custom vignetting in color.

Im loving this app! It renders really beautiful B&W photos, and, honestly, Im spending way too much time on here....cant stop playing with it! I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because there isnt an app out there that couldnt stand done tweaking and or improvements!

I am able to get B&W effects that are far better (and faster) than I can achieve in other filter- type apps.

Hands down my favorite black and white conversion app. You can tweak the settings yourself or you can press the randomize button to get a new look.

Amazing black and white.

Take the time, learn its abilities. If youre a purest of B&W Photography, it clearly states "Dramatic" so it tends to take the image a bit over the top with the presets. That being said, you can dial back the effects and create a very personalized style. Create and save your own series of presets. Solid stable app.

Love this app! Makes easy business of changing an awesome photo into a stunning b&w photo. Easy to use and my go-to app for b&w photos!
